I’m an idiot and sent my TOMO from Hotbit to a wallet that was the ERC-20 version of TOMO (TOMOE). Is there a way to recover my funds and get it into the correct TOMO wallet?

What’s the wallet that you sent to? If you can extract the private key out of it, then you can log in to other wallets that support TomoChain network and access your fund.

I only know the public address of it, which is the address of my Lumi wallet. I tried logging into Tomowallet using the same mnemonic phrase, but it didn’t show the TOMO.

You’ll have to use the private key instead of mnemonic phrases in order to access the same address. You can ask Lumi wallet how you can get the private key for your address.

Just wanted to thank you for your help! Was able to use the mnemonic code on some site to find the private key (since Lumi doesn’t show your private key) and get into my funds

i did the same thing but from kucoin to ftx. recoverable in the same way?
cant find a private key or a mnemonic code but am on hold with the support chat
any ideas if theres a private key//mnemonic code associated with ftx erc20 addresses?

Hi,
Since FTX is a centralized exchange and the wallet you sent to belongs to their team, then there is no way you can get it back by yourself. you can try contacting their team for help. Some exchanges are willing to help with a fee. Good luck
